I like how D.B.S. plans his written work. However, can thr president of Srilanka keep quiet when L.T.T.E starts its terror activities. If the GOSL remains passive human rights of Tamils will be protected. This can be achieved only at the expense of cand ivilian lives of innocent civilians.
It is true that Sinhalese Muslim citizens keep quiet allowing L.T.T.E to violate human rights. Tanils are happy when human rights of one group of people are vilolated.
They have to realise their mistake.

People smoking in public and what happent to the low. even some police man saw that but they wont get action.

Strangely quite a few people like Bala come out with statements like “don’t justify actions of LTTE” only to justify the actions of the Government, knowingly or unknowingly, thus ironically placing the two entities on the same scale. A democratically (???) elected govt. cannot resort to terrorist tactics. LTTE stands accused of selling the Tamils of North and East, lock stock and barrel losing credibility even among the ardent supporters on account of deal made with MR! On the other hand the credibility of MR and his govt. will take an unprecedented plunge once the Thoppigala drama is over.

The government must maintain human rights and make sure no innocent Tamils are harassed in any way and the LTTE spies should be given fair trials.

I like to ask Agniputra whether any state can be passive when an entity is trying to destroy it. Also if Buddhism is evaporating in Sri Lanka what is happening to Hinduism under LTTE? Is what the LTTE is doing now a credit to Hinduism?

Please dont try to justify the LTTE and condemn the Government only. Both sides are doing bad things. Nobody gave LTTE right to kill and destroy as they please. No one can expect Govt to be holy and good always but allow LTTE to be bad and unholy.

I am happy to see so many people responding to Mr. Jeyaraj’s article but so many are thinking it is new. Actually it was published first in October last year and was published again now. It is stated at bottom of article.

When I first read it last year I did not think what DBSJ said would come true. I did not think that International community will turn against Mahinda Govt. But what DBSJ said then is coming true now. That was a good analysis Mr. Jeyaraj

What are you saying? The LTTE can go on killing and bombing but the Government and others must maintain human rights always? So no human rights for LTTE? If LTTE wants to represent Tamils and become accepted by the world countries they must not violate human rights
