SL Blue Water Navy? Sri Lankan will never have a blue water navy, not even in thier dreams.

LTTE fought the SLAF 25 years, SLAF always outnumbered and had access to better training and military hardware. Your thinking that SLAF will defeat LTTE is a premature evaluation just like how the Indians evaluated that they will put down LTTE within 2 days. Not to mention the SLAF and the GOSL who also made many evaluation against LTTE only to learn that they were greatly mistaken the ability of LTTE.

LTTE will never be defeated as long as the majority refuse to share power. To defeat any organization you need to hit the foundation first, that is exactly what LTTE is doing. SLAF might be making some gain, but the governement is going to be collapsing very soon, all governement institutions including SLAF will crumble soon as the governement does. LTTE will just have to clear the debris and fly the tiger flag declaring Tamil Elam as an independent nation.

What is the SInhalese going to have? A big dent in the history, ruined nation, depleated treasury, a huge super powere as a neighbour, another agressive neighbour (Tamil Elam), idiots who will hold the political power and a hard punched black eye in front of the International Community.

Wake up Sinhalese people!

You said “VAKEEL” was a smuggler and raketeer. Then who is this KP? a Gandhian? VAKEEL was a smuggler and never kept for his money for him or his family. The family of VAKEEL suffers in poverty and KP’s family live in luxury.

In my opinion KP has been whisked out of Thailand to a US detention centre by the US for interrogation. KP is probably in Diego-Garcia or in Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. There is no smoke without fire. All the major news organizations reported his arrest and the denial by Thai authorities only re-inforce my suspicion.
