In the absence of foreign governments taking a firm and decisive action against the Apartheid Sri Lankan murderous regime, the GOSL continues to commit crimes against humanity.

No murderer is going to listen unless law and order has to be forcefully implemented. It is time for the international community to stop talking but take a firm action against the regime that continue to commit war crimes.

over 5000 outstanding Cases isn't enough? Tens of thousands of Tamils are kidnapped, raped and murdered by the racist Sinhala regime. How long the Western nations can wait?

Please Stop War Crimes happening and charge those who are responsible in order to deliver a strong message to other criminal regimes that there is no escape.

I am glad that the working group on enforced or involuntary disappearances has expressed the seriousness of the situation in Sri Lanka.

The conclusion by the working group that the current legal system cannot be regarded as fully effective is true. But the system is fully ineffective for Tamils, as the judiciary is packed with judges who are not neutral on Tamil matters.

The conclusion of the Working Group that the high number of successful fundamental rights cases decided by the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka and the even higher number of complaints received by the national Human Rights Commission indicate that torture is still widely practiced is also true. But torture is not against all the citizens it is against Tamils in particular.

The UN should therefore take a serious view of the situation in Sri Lanka and take concrete action.
