“In 1833 the Colebrook-Cameron Commission allocated approximately 26,500 sq.km as the Tamil People’s Ancestral Motherland. In 1901 when the nine provinces came into being, the Tamil administration of the Northern and Eastern Provinces measured approximately 19,100 sq.km Due to some of the area being incorporated into the Sinhalese provinces the Tamil area had been reduced by approximately 7,500 sq.km. After 1948 the government’s settlement plan deprived the Tamils of 7,000 sq.km. in the Eastern Province and 500 sq.km. in the Northern Province. Although the Tamils protested, the Colombo administration ignored the Tamils and settled Sinhalese in these regions. Approximately 7,500 sq.km of Tamil land was plundered by the Sinhala Government’s Demarcation and Resettlement Plan when it came into operation. This has been taking place over the last forty years. Before 1833, 25% of Tamil speaking people occupied 35% of land, which was in their administration as Tamil ancestral homeland. In 1901 this area shrunk from 35% to 29%. Within 162 years the Sinhalese government under its Demarcation and Resettlement Plan has plundered 50% of the Tamil ancestral homeland and is still attempting to colonise more and more!”

LTTE will only destroy the Tamil people. After killing 20000 of our young as ‘maveerar’, what does the thecia thalaivar has to show? Thalaivar couldn’t get Eelam after wiping out Elephant pass camp, katunayak airport. While he couldnt deliver after those ’spectacular’ attacks, if anyone beleive that this stupid moron will get Elam by killing govt. minister or moving the mary, they also desrve to go down with the bunker-hiding idiot.

Kurudan1- VP doesn’t have to withdraw from any line. He will be forced to run away. Already the Tamil eelam had been made confined to the Wanni jungles. That land will also be taken away soon. Only thing VP can do is to send some ‘black tiger’ retards to kill others and get killed.

Some of the commentators think that only LTTE has curtailed peoples movement.. Why can’t these people admit that the so called “DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED ” government has also curtailed the movement of people from one place to the other. Best example is that people from Jaffna cannot go to Vanni by the shortest route. They have to get approval from the security forces spend a fortune for the air fare (for a ride in a rickety old tin can) or book their seat on a ship and wait for their turn. Go on a circuitous route via Colombo or Trincomale!! Their destination could be only a couple of miles if they could go by the A9!! In addition to satisfying Mahinda’s ego, somebody who is close to the top must be making money in the air transport buisness!!

In fact the security forces run the life of the people in Jaffna. It is a tragedy the way the ILLITERATE soldiers treating the civilians like slaves, just because they have the guns!! At times they are forced to do manual labour for them!!

what if, LTTE demand one person from all Tamil families in Colombo and outside SL and bread goes upto Rs. 150 in SL.

1. Military calculations of VP include madhu matha.
If VP withraws from madhu SLA will walk into the temple claim victory, morale boost for SLA…. VP is not in the business of handing out victories for mahinda. VP was soft in 1998, Col Laxman avoided setting his line close to the church on the instruction from VP( Priests talked to VP), what happened SLA easily captured madhu….see the videos on you tube. The same Col Laxman is running the show in mannar now. This time VP will not withraw from anywhere for any kind of sensitivity….unless they were really beaten by SLA.

2. The real show is going to be in the muhamalai front.. The mannar-vavuniya-manal aru is just the side show. It is designed to ” Kill and injur” as many LTTErs as possible. Minimize the VP’s effective fighting force then attack them hard at muhamalai. VP did not take the bait
he is waiting for the real show in muhamalai. When the water levels go down in the Jaffna lagoons… in coming months……hundreds of churches temples will be abandoned, murugans and pillayars will be sitting in their moolasthanams without their 6 times poja, iyer……

3. VP’s intention to remove IDPs from madhu so they could be recruited and used for this phase of war….NO SIR, if you recruit someone now they will be able to do real battle in 18 months….
