This guy is rewarded for loosing more than 2000 lives and wounding 4000 men in one year and not taking responsibility for it. Rs.44 million for a car is unimaginably high even by European and North American standards. No wonder the military is the best industry in Sri Lanka (other than the poor foot soldiers) next to politics. They claim to have captured the East. How many Tigers were killed during that operation? None or very small. That is not a victory; it was a tactical withdrawal of the LTTE.

Elephant Pass is ‘Ali man kada’ because ‘Ali’ is plural
but ?Atha? is singular like ‘Aanai’

It seems to me that the LTTE could kill innocent Tamils only to to put the blame on the Sinhalese and vise versa. As peace loving citizens we are lost. Mind you this could get worse given the international scenario where Iran and United States vis-a- vis the CIA is concerned not to mention the RAW? The announcement by the RAW that cadres of Karuna could infiltrate Tamilnadu and abuduct/ assassinate politicians therein – is it a calculated attempt to divert attention? RAW had been doing it all the time. This might have been a fall-out of the Iranian President’s visit and rightly so.

The latest news is that Karuna is to be released on account of his good behaviour. Rather unexpected news! Do you want to believe it given the EP polls? It is possible that the return of Karuna might pose a threat to the existence of Pillyan? In this case Pillayan might go back to the jungles-a vain attempt given the current state of manipulations. What are “they” trying to do? These guys are expecting too much of “OUR LAND” responses from the public.It is our land no doubt! The question is who are WE? Sri Lankans, Sinhalese or Tamils?
